Redsky, W

As reported in the Kenora Miner and News on 2 April 1919, the towns of Kenora and Keewatin held a large reception in the Tourist Hotel for returning veterans. On the list was W Redsky. His identity could not be confirmed but it is possible that it was either James or   Edward Redsky

Henry Edward Hannon was born on 1 August 1892, the only son of Henry  and Kathleen Hannon of Ardreigh House, Athy, County Kildare, Ireland. McRae, Kenneth Norman

Gunner Kenneth Norman McRae, MM, was a law student when he enlisted in the Canadian Field Artillery in November 1915. He was killed by an artillery shell in September 1918, during the Hundred Days Offensive. According to his attestation Kenneth was born 23 August 1893 in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Private Stanley Bunting was the oldest son of Robert James Bunting and Alice Agar Fitzgerald. James and Alice were both early residents of Rat Portage, Ontario, arriving there with their families around 1880. Anderson, Charles McLaren

Sapper Charles McLaren Anderson joined the Canadian Engineers in February 1916 and served overseas for three years. Currie, Hector Donald

Corporal Hector Donald Currie enlisted with the 52nd Battalion in May 1915. He was seriously wounded at the Vimy front in November 1916 and invalided to Canada the following spring.
