In an article published in the Kenora Miner and News on 19 December 1914, the name of William Tellingham appeared on the list of recent recruits for the third contingent. His identity nor service could be confirmed.  

Smith, Herbert Douglas Sinclair

Herbert Douglas Sinclair Smith was one of the over 4,000 Canadian fatal casualties of the Battle of Passchendaele Oct 27-Nov 12, 1917). Badly wounded during the battle, he later died in hospital in England. Lance Sergeant James Andrew Adams served with the 5th Regiment Canadian Mounted Rifles in France and Belgium.
