Collins, H I

The name H I Collins appears on the Lake of the Woods Milling Company Roll of Honour as one of the fallen in WW1 from the area. His identity and service could not be confirmed.  

Lambley, Leonard Herbert

Found on the passenger list for the Athenia, 17 year old Leonard Herbert Lambley arrived in Canada on 20 August 1906. Milfred Hueston Woods was born on 15 December 1895 in Rat Portage (later renamed Kenora), Ontario. His parents Russell Woods, originally from Quebec, and Elizabeth Fletcher,  born in Ontario, had married in Winnipeg on 29 December 1886. The name of W Spaight appeared in the 4 March 1916 edition of the Kenora Miner and News for enlisting with the 2nd Field Company, Canadian Engineers. His identity and service could not be confirmed.  

Muggaberg, George Allen

Corporal George Allen Muggaberg enlisted in the U.S. army in June 1917, at age 22. He served in France for almost a year and returned to the U.S. in November 1918.
