Corporal Frank Joseph Colpman enlisted with an artillery unit in October 1915 and served overseas for more than three years. He returned to Canada in May 1919 with a war bride. Scott, G M

As reported in the Kenora Miner and News on 2 April 1919, the towns of Kenora and Keewatin held a large reception in the Tourist Hotel for returning veterans. On the list was G M Scott. His identity could not be confirmed.    

Warnick, Fred

According to his later obituary, Martin Nestok was born on 16 March 1890 in Russia. Although a record was not found, the 1921 Canada census suggested that he immigrated to Canada in 1910. William Albert Kelly was born on 3 July 1898 in Rat Portage (later renamed Kenora) in northwestern Ontario. His father James Kelly was the son of Irish immigrants that had settled in the village of Brussels, Huron, Ontario. According to his attestation papers, Francis McMullan was born in Dublin Ireland on June 16, 1883. In 1903 he married Annie Johnson, daughter of William Johnson and Marion Rennie, in London, England.
