Anderson, J

The Lake of the Woods Milling Company in Keewatin, Ontario created a roll of honour after the war, commemorating the fallen as well as all that served. One of the fallen was listed as J Anderson.  

Aird, John Donald

Corporal John Donald Aird enlisted in Winnipeg in 1914, at age 19, and served in France and Belgium with the Canadian Mounted Rifles. Heinrick Maluish was born in Rat Portage (Kenora) on 06 October 1897. His parents came from two different worlds. Ernest Duncan Maluish arrived from England and settled in Rat Portage in 1880. Andrew Shalin Olson, son of Olaf Olson and Hannah Neilson, was born 01 July 1877 in Helsinborg, Sweden.
